Standard - construction is of top quality cedar with spruce and ash brightwork. It's carefully finished and completly made of local materials. The native woods are light and strong making for a practical canoe. Standard canoes weigh about 4 pounds for each foot of length.
Classic - models incorporate fine woods and construction details to enhance the canoe's appearance. Cherry outwales are a handsome contrast to spruce inwales; cane seats are hand done and the decks are select hardwood. Classic models average about 4.5 pounds per foot.
Lightweight - construction uses light woods wherever possible to bring the weight as low as 3 pounds per foot. Cedar seats, double tapered ribs and 1/8" planks are still very durable. This is not a fragile boat, but you will want to take care of it, as you would any prized possession.
